1. Child Development & Psychology (30 Marks)

The difficulty level of the questions will be up to the Post-Graduate level, but the topics are based on the prescribed syllabus for classes 9th to 12th by the Education Department of Haryana.

A) Geography of India

• Physical Aspects: India's size, location, and neighboring countries; physical structure and physiographic divisions; drainage systems; climate and monsoons.
• Resources & Environment: Natural vegetation and wildlife; water resources; land resources and agriculture; minerals and energy resources.
• Economic & Human Aspects: Manufacturing industries; population (distribution, density, growth, and composition); human settlements (types, patterns, and distribution); transport and communication; international trade.
• Issues & Planning: Natural hazards and disasters in India; planning and sustainable development in the Indian context; geographical perspectives on selected issues and problems.
• Pedagogy: Subject-related pedagogy.

B) Physical Geography

• Earth & Solar System: Geography as a discipline (its development and scope); the solar system; motions of the earth; the origin and evolution of the earth.
• Lithosphere: Origin and distribution of oceans and continents; the earth's interior (structure and composition); geomorphic processes; landforms and their evolution.
• Atmosphere: Composition and structure of the atmosphere; solar radiation, heat balance, and temperature; atmospheric circulation and weather systems; water in the atmosphere; world climate and climate change.
• Hydrosphere & Biosphere: Oceanic water and its movement; biodiversity and conservation.
• Pedagogy: Subject-related pedagogy.

C) Human Geography

• Fundamentals: Meaning, principles, nature, and scope of human geography; human development.
• Economic Activities: Primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary activities.
• Population & Infrastructure: World population (distribution, density, growth, and composition); transport and communication; international trade.
• Pedagogy: Subject-related pedagogy.
